If you are a current or former member of the SMA, do not use this form to pay your dues.  Login to your account (link at the top right) and use the renewal link available to members.  If you do not know your Username or Password, use the "Forgot Password?" link at the top.  If you do not have access to the eMail account you originally registered with, please use the "Contact the SMA" link in the menu above to have a System Administrator assist you in recovering your information.

 

SMA Membership

  FULL MEMBERSHIP

Full Members enjoy all benefits of the Association including eligibility to run for and serve as a Member of the Executive Board, serve as a committee member, and the privilege to vote.  Any person who has worked under a recognized contract of any branch of the Associated Actors and Artistes of America (AEA, AFTRA, AGMA, AGVA) as a Stage Manager or Assistant Stage Manager or who can demonstrate comparable experience as a professional Stage Manager (Union or non-Union) is eligible to apply for Full Membership.

  ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

Associate Members may attend Association meetings and serve on committees of the Association, but have no voting privileges and may not run for, nor serve on, the Executive Board.  Any person who demonstrates an intent to pursue a career as a professional Stage Manager shall be eligible for Associate Membership.  An Associate Member may apply for Full Membership at such time as said Member qualifies for Full Membership.

  AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP

Affiliate Membership (as mentioned in the SMA Constitution) is available, but is a manual application procedure.  Click on the "Contact the SMA" option in the menu above to contact the Membership Committee regarding an application for Affiliate Membership.
